The four-door full-size pickup truck Derways Plutus was first shown to the public in the summer of 2007, and shortly thereafter, its commercial production began at the facilities of the Cherkessk plant.

The car continued its "career" only until 2008, when it finally left the assembly line due to low demand.

The overall dimensions of "Plutus" are more than impressive: it is 5405 mm long, 1725 mm wide, and does not exceed 1690 mm in height. The distance between the pairs of wheels of the "truck" is 3380 mm, and the ground clearance is 200 mm. In the curb condition, the car weighs 1730 kg, and its passport carrying capacity fits into 500 kg (the maximum permissible weight is 2605 kg).

Specifications. Under the hood of Derways Plutus there is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol "aspirated" in-line arrangement, 16-valve timing and multipoint injection, which produces 126 "horses" at 5250 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm.
The motor is equipped with a 5-speed "manual" transmission and all-wheel drive of the Part-time type with a hard-starting front axle, a single-stage transfer case, a reduction gear and a self-locking rear differential.

The maximum capabilities of "Plutus" do not exceed 130 km / h, and acceleration from the start to 100 km / h fits in 12 seconds.

In combined conditions, a pickup truck consumes no more than 12 liters of fuel for every “hundred”.

The skeleton of Derways Plutus is a spar frame with a longitudinally placed power unit. The front wheels of the car are attached to the support system by means of an independent torsion bar suspension with four levers and telescopic shock absorbers, and the rear wheels are attached using a dependent structure with multi-leaf springs (“in a circle” - with anti-roll bars).

The pickup uses a dual-circuit braking system with disc (ventilated) devices at the front and drum at the rear, supplemented by ABS. By default, the machine is equipped with a hydraulic power assisted rack and pinion steering.

"Truck" can boast: simple and reliable design, good carrying capacity, excellent maneuverability, affordable content, acceptable driving performance and much more.
Its disadvantages are usually attributed to: mediocre workmanship, poor sound insulation and high gas mileage.

Price. In the secondary Russian market, "Plutus" in 2017 is sold at a price of ~ 200 thousand rubles.
