Sedan Chrysler 300S can be called a sports version of the usual 300th, as indicated by the letter S in the name. The car was officially unveiled at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, and in November 2014, an updated version was presented.
If, in general, the appearance of the Chrysler 300S is identical to the appearance of the base sedan, then there are differences in details, and significant ones.
The sports sedan has practically no chrome parts in the exterior, which adds to its expressiveness. Well, its features are 20-inch light-alloy "rollers" painted in black, a radiator grille decorated with dark chrome and tinted head optics with bi-xenon filling. In addition, the roof can be painted black regardless of the color chosen.
The interior of the Chrysler 300S sports leather-trimmed sports seats that are heated and electrically adjustable in eight positions. The essence of the car is underlined by the “S” emblem, which can be found on the seats and dashboard. The interior is finished in Ambassador Blue leather with striking light gray stitching.
In terms of ease of placement and space, the 300S is no different from the 300. And the volume of the luggage compartment is the same - 462 liters, which can be increased by folding the back of the rear sofa.
Specifications. A pair of gasoline engines are offered for the Chrysler 300S. The first is a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar, delivering 300 horsepower and 358 Nm of torque. The second is a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI, which has a herd of 363 "horses" (492 Nm of peak thrust). "Eight" is equipped with a system for deactivating half of the cylinders at low loads.
Both engines are paired with a state-of-the-art 8-speed automatic transmission that directs torque to the rear wheels by default. However, an all-wheel drive system is available for a fee.
Price. In our country, the Chrysler 300S is not available, but abroad it can be bought at a price of $ 34,395. The list of basic vehicle equipment is similar to that of the Chrysler 300.
